Pest control for the house you actually live in

What the plan covers
  • A quarterly plan that keeps the barrier current, with visits scheduled so you can plan around them.
  • The price is quoted on the phone before anyone drives out, and it does not change after the visit.
  • Free re-treats between visits. If something turns up, we come back out at no extra charge.
  • No contract to sign. Stop the plan whenever it stops being useful to you.

Most homes do not need a dramatic response. They need the same few entry points handled properly, on a schedule, by a technician who writes down what he found. We treat the inside where insects travel, put a barrier around the outside, and come back before that barrier wears off.

What a treatment covers

  • Interior cracks, voids and baseboard lines, where insects actually travel.
  • Kitchen and bathroom plumbing penetrations, under sinks and behind appliances.
  • The garage, including the door seal and the wall it shares with the house.
  • Attic access points and the gaps around them.
  • A full exterior barrier along the foundation line of the house.
  • Eaves and soffits, cleared and treated for wasps and mud daubers.
  • Window frames, door frames and thresholds.
  • Fence line and yard harborage, where insects build up before they reach the house.
  • A review of entry points, so you know what is letting them in.
  • A written note of what we found and what we treated, after every visit.

If something is not on this list and it is a problem at your house, say so when you call. The visit is built around what your house needs, not a fixed route we run everywhere.

What a visit looks like

The same order of work every time, whether it is the first treatment or the fourth.

First 5 minutes

We walk it with you

You show us where you have seen activity and what has changed since the last visit. That conversation sets the plan for the rest of the visit, so nothing gets treated on a guess.

Minutes 5 to 10

Inspection before product

We check entry points, plumbing penetrations, the garage, the attic access and the eaves, and look for the harborage that is feeding the problem.

Minutes 10 to 40

Inside, then outside

Interior treatment goes into cracks, voids and baseboard lines. Then the exterior: a barrier along the foundation, nests cleared from the eaves and soffits, window and door frames, fence line and yard.

Before we leave

You hear what we found

The technician walks you through what he treated, what to keep off and for how long, and anything worth watching before the next visit.

After the visit

It goes in writing

You get a written note of the findings and the treatment. If something turns up before the next quarterly visit, the re-treat is free.

On the job

Most of a visit is quiet work in the places nobody looks at. Under the sink, behind the appliances, along the baseboard line and out at the foundation, where insects actually travel.

The technician walks you through what he found before he leaves, and it goes in writing afterwards, so there is a record of what was treated and when.

Plans and pricing

Quarterly plan

The standard plan for a house. Four visits a year, inside and out, with free re-treats in between and nothing to sign.

Initial service

The first visit, and the heavier one. It gets the house back to level before the quarterly plan takes over.

One-time treatment

A single visit for a specific problem, with no plan attached and nothing to cancel afterwards.

Re-treat between visits

If something turns up while you are on the plan, we come back out and treat it again.

No extra charge

Every house is different. The real number depends on square footage, the size of the lot and what is being treated, so we quote it on the phone before anyone drives out. No inspection fee and no contract.

Pets, children and treatment day

Pets and children
  • Products go into cracks, voids and baseboard lines rather than across open floors and counters.
  • Treated areas are dry within a couple of hours.
  • Before he starts, the technician tells you exactly what to keep off and for how long.
  • Mention aquariums, reptiles, birds or anything else sensitive when you book, so the technician can plan around them.
On treatment day
  • Someone should be home for the first visit, so we can get inside and go over what you have been seeing.
  • Clear the sink cabinets, and pull pet bowls and toys off the floor in the rooms being treated.
  • Inside and outside together usually takes somewhere around half an hour to forty minutes.
  • Exterior-only visits do not need anyone home, as long as the gates are unlocked and the dogs are inside.

If you are unsure about anything, ask the technician before he starts. He will tell you what he is using, where it is going, and what to keep off until it dries.
